LaKesha serves as the Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) for the Texoma Logistics Innovation Engine (TIE), a federally funded initiative focused on advancing automation, logistics, and workforce development. Through this role, she helps shape programs that provide high-demand, high-wage career opportunities, ensuring industry alignment and regional economic growth.
LaKesha represents North Texas as the North Region Representative for the Texas Administrators of Continuing Education (TACE), advocating for workforce education policies and professional development across the state.
In addition to her role at Dallas College, LaKesha is the founder of Leading with LaKesha (LWL), where she shares insights on leadership, partnership development, and workforce innovation through speaking engagements, coaching, and strategic consulting. Through both her professional and entrepreneurial endeavors, she remains committed to building resilient workforce ecosystems that drive community impact.
