Geoffrey also leads the SmartSA Partnership, a collaboration among nine major public-sector agencies dedicated to enhancing operational efficiencies, driving innovation, and fostering a more connected and equitable San Antonio.
Before joining the City of San Antonio, Geoffrey managed Smart City partnerships at a leading government technology firm in New York City, where he successfully expanded operations to seven new states and spearheaded multimillion-dollar initiatives across numerous cities. His earlier career in Washington, D.C., included six years advocating for public and private sector clients on legislative and regulatory matters related to transportation, economic development, and environmental policy. Additionally, he held key positions in the Texas State Legislature, where he developed deep expertise in public sector governance.
Geoffrey holds a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in sustainable urban systems from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
