Courtney Sladek

Courtney Sladek has been the City Manager of El Campo since May 2019 after serving as Deputy City Manager and Director of Finance.
Sladek has over two decades of experience in local government. Prior to coming to El Campo, she served as the Budget Manager for the City of Friendswood, Budget Manager for the City of College Station, and as a Budget Analyst for the State of Texas.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University, a Master of Arts in Political Science from Sam Houston State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler.  She is a Certified Government Financial Officer and an ICMA Credential Manager.  
Courtney and her husband have a 17-year-old daughter attending Southwestern University in Georgetown and enjoy spending time outdoors.
